Excellent visit and nice building architecture, with about 200 years of history. I recommend going online and buying tickets in advance, in order to avoid long lines at the ticket window. You can easily spend all day in the museum, but you need at least 3 hours to have a nice visit.
You have to include it in your visit to Madrid. Nice collections of sculptures and paintings, equal to the top museums in Europe. I recommend to see Goya and the Velazquez collections, but do not forget to see the Garden of Earthly Delights from Bosch.
